A great activity for any season is visiting the horseback riding stables, get your friends together, and experience the adventure of riding a horse on trails through the Pocono’s. We have something for all experience levels and with 3 locations we have something to offer near to almost everything in the surrounding area.
Mountain Creek Riding Stable
Mountain Creek Riding Stable is located in Cresco (very close to Callie’s and other Mountainhome sites), here we offer a beginner paced ride consisting of walking and some trotting. The ride takes 45-50 minutes and crosses through a creek onto a 3-mile wooded trail, you are accompanied by our experienced trail guides. We will take children as young as 7 and 50 inches tall, for anyone too young or that isn’t up to riding yet we also offer horse-drawn wagon rides on Sundays.
