COVID-19 Procedure Updates

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mountain Creek Riding Stable has implemented a few new procedures to ensure the safety of our guests.

  • Our gift shop is currently closed until further notice and all business will be conducted outside.
  • When you arrive please go around the side of the barn to the window for assistance. This also means that we have no indoor bathroom facilities and instead we have a porta-potty on property.
  • Our staff will wear masks when interacting with guests. While we ask that guests wear them as well, they are not required once on horseback, everyone is more than 6 feet apart and so masks are not necessary.
  • Our team regularly sanitizes surfaces that guests may come into contact with.

For guests who have booked a horseback riding experience, our cancellation policy is the following:

  • There is a two-hour cancellation or adjustment policy.
  • As long as we receive any requests prior to 2 hours before the scheduled ride time we will make the adjustments. After two hours we will bill the booking in full.


If you are able to, we ask that you consider rescheduling the date of your experience instead of canceling. During this difficult and uncertain time, we are happy to work with you to find a date that works.


We are also welcoming all gift certificate purchases, as they do not expire and can be redeemed at any point.
