This was a five star experience! Our guide Ron was fantastic, answered our questions with professionalism and fed us with a ton of information. Clearly he was in control of the horses, and loved them like family. The four of us truly enjoyed the experience and would do it again!

The staff and horses are great at Mountain Creek Riding Stables! Been there multiple times. This time with 1st time riders - 11 year old Grandsons. UPDATE: Two more Grandkids became Wranglers this week! Always pleased with Mountain Creek!

What a great experience! The staff & horses were so friendly. This was my first time ever riding a horse & it was one of greatest experiences Ive had. The trail they take you on is beautiful and we loved seeing the deer! We eill definitely be back!

The guide was awesome as well as all the girls running the place! Horses were fun and trail was relaxing. Saw some deer 3 feet from us! I recommend.

I’ve ridden here at least 3x & every time it’s been a fantastic experience. You can tell the staff love horses & their jobs. The horses are happy and the staff are very knowledgeable about each horse’s personality traits, riding instruction, and just fun to have conversations with while in the trail. I enjoy the trails as well, a nice mix of small incline, declines, and plenty of flat areas for light trotting. If you want more opportunities to trot etc, I highly suggest doing the private rides!

I have ridden here 2 times before and both times were great. The horses are very sweet and everything feels very safe. Some of the horses can be a little sassy sometimes but they are animals with their own personalities. If you are a horse person you know that! The horses all seem well groomed and well taken care of. I love that they encourage you to do thing during the ride that will make it easier on the horse like leaning forward or backwards for hills and slopes. I would ride here again and encourage anyone who wants to try horse riding to start here because it will be a great experience!

Such a fun experience! Toni was a wonderful ride instructor and Wallace (the horse) was the highlight of my weekend. I was super nervous and had never been on a horse but highly recommend the trail ride!

The instructors were knowledgeable and good communicators. We were given good lessons and as a result felt comfortable on the horses. We would definitely return for another great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trail horseback ride at Mountain Creek Riding Stable. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and our guide was very experienced. The staff was all women which we found delightful and refreshing. We highly recommend it.

My fianceé took me here for my birthday and it was awesome! I rode TJ and she rode Wallace. The horses are sweet and the staff is very knowledgeable with the horses. Great for first time riders.

My wife and I went to Mountain Creek Riding Stable for our 1st wedding anniversary. The people there were pleasant and very friendly. One lady is very attentive to my wife because she is deaf and have multiple sclerosis. We enjoy the trail and the weather was pleasant. I would go back again. The employees were very laid-back back and professional but show alot of affection toward horses to make us feel at ease with their horses. Reasonable price as well.

We signed up for a private tour, just 2 of us with a guide. Our horses were responsive and easy to guide. Our trail guide was personable and very friendly. We especially like the ride when she took us off the main trail a couple of times. Fun time!

I enjoyed the ride so much that I'm planning to go back there again. I traveled there from all the way from NYC and don't regret it at all. Literally all staff members including all tour guides especially Mike were amazing, friendly and simply wonderful. But the most beautiful members of the stable were very very sweet horses. My wife and I had the most amazing trail ride on our honeymoon. Our guide Sasha was outstanding, she's confident, funny, and professional. The horses were very well kept and in great shape, the love and care the staff show them is easily noted. All the staff that got us set up and helped us out are also top notch! What a magical day we had. We were lucky enough to have snow ❄️. The horses were beautiful, well cared for and very calm. A lovely day out. Thank you to our guides and horses who braved the snow to make our day so magical!

This was the second time at Mt. Creek and both times I had a wonderful time. My 2 children love to go on trail rides as we have done them on vacation to various National Parks. To have a nice and easy ride is always fun. The snow made it even nicer!!!

Went riding today with my boyfriend for our anniversary. Everyone was friendly, the trail ride was perfect and even included a little fast pace, and the horses were great and sure footed! Had a wonderful experience and will be back next time we visit the Poconos ❤️

Went Aug 13th...Loved it! Brought 3yr old daughter & my two nieces. The horses look super healthy and strong (my family had a ranch in the Caribbean). Piper took great care in putting my teen niece at ease for her first ride. Gave lots of instructions...more than at any stable ive visited (in AZ., NY, PA, NJ, Spain, Mex., Egypt and Dominican Rep.) That girl Piper was fantastic! She also gave the pony ride to my 7 yr old niece..kept her talking to calm her nerves. I just wonder do you guys have a softer trail , no rocks, for a future trotting or gallop ride?♥♥♥

Great experience here, nice long trail ride through the woods, safe and fun, horses seem to be well loved and cared for. Guides are friendly, informative and seem to love what they do. Highly recommend!

My kid (13 yr old) and husband went and they loved it. They get to ride on the horse without having anyone holding on to the horse. They follow the instructor by themselves and explore the trail with simple instructions. Helmets are provided if u want. They match a horse for you according to your weight and height. The time for the whole thing took like half hour. My 10yr old kid was too scared to go on by himself but after seeing his brother go he said he will go on next time. Overall was a great experience.
