Horse Riding for Kids & Families

At Mountain Creek Riding Stables, we seek to provide a wholesome family experience in the Pocono Mountains. From guided horseback riding for kids to wagon rides to our pony rides for kids, there is a variety of family activities for all ages. If you’re on a family getaway to the Poconos, then you’ve come down the right trail! Make a day of it with horseback trail rides, wagon rides, pony rides for the kids, and a picnic at our riding stables. Enjoy the peaceful outdoor setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.

Family Wagon Rides

45 Minutes

All Levels

$25 Adults

Mt. Creek

The horse-drawn wagon ride here at Mountain Creek Riding Stable is a 45-minute ride that goes along the same trails as our horseback rides. Our wagon will seat up to 10 adults comfortably. This is a great option for families who may have children that are too small to go on horseback so that they are still able to get the horse experience. Another great part about the wagon at Mountain Creek Stable is that if you come with a group of people and some want to horseback ride while others would rather take a wagon ride then the wagon can follow right along with the other horses on the trail, keeping your entire group together while allowing them different options.
