5) Horseback Riding:
A great activity for any season is visiting the horseback riding stables near the Poconos, get your girlfriends together, and experience the adventure of riding a horse on trails through the Pocono Mountains.
Mountain Creek Riding Stable
Mountain Creek Riding Stable is located in Cresco (very close to Callie’s and other Mountainhome sites), here we offer a beginner paced horseback ride consisting of walking and some trotting. The ride takes 45-50 minutes and crosses through a creek onto a 3-mile wooded trail. You are accompanied by our experienced trail guides along the entire ride. We will take children as young as 7 and 50 inches tall, for anyone too young or that isn’t up to riding yet we also offer horse-drawn wagon rides on Sundays.
