We offer private guided horseback trail rides through the Pocono Mountain trails and off-site horse-drawn carriage rentals for all your special event needs. Not only are these perfect for a weddings and engagements, these are beautiful ways to commemorate an anniversary or vow renewal as well!
Private Horseback Riding — Great for Proposals!
There’s nothing more romantic than a private trail ride through the Poconos Mountains! Your guide can take photos on your phone if you’d like to capture a special moment. Wedding Carriage Rental
Allow us to help you transform your wedding day into a fairytale event with our horse-drawn carriage rentals. Entering or exiting your ceremony in a beautiful carriage will create a memory you won’t soon forget and amaze all your guests. Our horse-drawn carriage rentals aren’t just limited to weddings, you can rent this service for any special event such as a birthday, vow renewal, or an anniversary. Please note that payment will be required for the entire duration the carriage remains at the venue.

Weddings and Engagements FAQs
Requirements/Policies
- For private trail rides, children must be at least 7 years old and 50″ tall to ride. There are no age limits for the carriage rides.
- Weight restrictions do apply for the trail rides. The weight limit is 240 lbs., though this is dependent on height. Please contact us for details.
- For trail rides, helmets are required for minors (anyone under 18). We provide helmets free of charge for any rider.
- Please wear secure shoes, no sandals or flip-flops for the private trail rides. For more information on what to wear/bring, you can visit our Horseback Trail Rides page.
- Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the scheduled hour of your ride.
- For the carriage rides, we do our best to accommodate all mobility issues but please note there is a large step to get into the carriages that may make this unaccessible to some. Please contact us for more information.
Cancellation Policy
We prefer cancellations be done over the phone, as we cannot check our e-mail throughout the day.
- E-mail cancellations will still be honored, but your card may be charged before we get to the e-mail and we will then issue a refund.
- For weddings, cancellations must be made before 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund. For private trail rides, we will accept cancellations up to 2 hours in advance for a full refund.
- To ensure prompt cancellation please call us at 570-839-8725 and, if it is outside our business hours, please leave us a message.

Booking in Advance
Private trail rides are cut off for online booking 24 hours in advance. Call us at 570-839-8725 with any day-of booking questions. If you do not see availability online for the date and time you’d like to book, then all rides are full. We do not provide availability via e-mail.
For carriage rides, please book well in advance. This applies especially if your event is during the peak summer season on a weekend, so we can best accommodate you.
We typically don’t require a deposit to reserve private trail rides or the carriage rentals. Please pay at your time of service. If you’d like a receipt for the carriage rides, you can put a credit card on file with us in advance when you reserve your rental.
Are there restrictions to where the carriage can go?
The carriage usually requires a paved or very smooth surface, because the wheels can get stuck in soft ground. If you’re not sure if your venue will work for this purpose, we can set up a meeting beforehand with you and our carriage driver so you can be sure we can meet your needs.
Can we decorate the carriage?
Yes, you’re welcome to decorate the carriages or we can provide our standard decorations of artificial flowers. All decorations must be approved first.
Are the carriages heated?
No, the carriages are not heated. Although they have roofs, they are open-air and weather can get in if it’s raining or snowing.
Do you operate all year long?
Yes, we operate all year round for trail rides and carriage rentals. Trail rides can be done in all weather conditions, except emergency weather situations. The carriages cannot operate if there’s too much snow or ice. June through October is generally the best time to book our carriage rentals.
